MC with no bleeding?

Question

I've been reading a lot of the posts and responses and some women have said that they didn't find out they'd lost their baby until the next ob appointment.  That made me really sad and confused because I thought if you miscarried, you're uterus released all the blood and tissue the baby needed.  
Anyone understand this better than I do so I can look for other signs (if there are any)?

Back in May I went in for my 8 week appt and they said the baby stopped growing at 6. It certainly was devastating, and now I'm 8 weeks along and dreading my appt next Wednesday because I'm afraid I'll get horrible news. Unfortunately because we're all so early on in this forum hearing these 'worst case scenarios' is common. The best we can do is just hope that our little blueberries are growing right on schedule!

That's what I'm worried about to. I'm 10w1d and my symptoms mostly gone away since 8w. I don't feel pregnant. At times I forget that I am. I'm so worried.

I had this happen to me in January. It is called a missed miscarriage. The baby's heart stops but it just takes the body long time to realize anything is wrong. It really was awful going in thinking everything was fine to be told there was no heartbeat because I had no signs or anything of miscarriage. It seeks to be pretty common though. I'm 10w4d today. We lost the baby at 8w4d in January and I have another appointment today. Just praying we hear the heartbeat again!! I started losing some symptoms around 9 weeks so I've been on edge especially since it happened to us before. But I feel pretty positive. With my last pregnancy I had about 4 dreams of miscarriage and then the night before the appointment where we found out I had a dream of that exact thing happening that did. And this pregnancy nothing but happy dreams so I feel like it's a good sign. Try not to worry too much. The odds are in our favor!!

It can take up to 3 weeks from when a baby passes for the body to "catch up" and realize it needs to release the fetus. 😞
