Calmly freaking out?!

Question

Okay, so you were TTC for quite some time and now you find out your pregnant....then you realize your going to be a mommy. But, you realize too.....You don't know the first thing about babies. Ahhhhh!!! I haven't been around kids in quite sometime. Also, other people's kids irritate me. Is anyone else feeling this way? Anyone with their 2nd child-how did you feel when you were first pregnant? Is this a normal feeling? Was it "as bad" as people were telling you it was?

You're not not alone! I'm in the same boat. Not freaking out, but not "overjoyed" either. Don't worry, we'll wing it :-)

Your worry is completely normal. I myself had never even held a newborn or changed a newborn or bathed a newborn until my daughter. I also hate other people's kids. You learn the right way to do things and what works for you and you just figure it out. Yes you will be sleep deprived and irritable sometimes but just remember that it won't last forever and one day you will look back and realize it wasn't so bad so just relax and enjoy the ride :-) you'll be a-okay! I was and my baby is now 5 and I have a baby on the way!
