Something above changing table to distract LO?

My LO is almost 6mo. When we put him on the changing pad (which we have set up above his dresser), he immediately rolls onto his stomach. He then tries to crawl towards the diaper caddy. It’s very hectic and dangerous. 
Do you have any suggestions to keep him from doing this? I was thinking of something is hanging above his head maybe he will try to go for that instead of the caddy?

Do you give him a toy or book to play with whole you change him? Something special he can only have on the table.

Wow 6 months is early! My son started doing this around 10 months and he’s now so ridiculously strong that it’s a battle almost every time to figure out how to distract him. When he decides to be good on rare occasions I praise him like crazy, and usually that gets him to be good for a few months🙌. For the other times I keep a stash of books, toys, etc to distract him. When he doesn’t fall for his normal toys I’ll give him something he’s not usually supposed to have, like a diaper cream tube, lotion, a clean diaper, whatever I have handy! He also loves his sleep sack and treats it like his security blanket so sometimes I’ll give him a pacifier and let him cuddle with his sleep sack to get him to be good for diaper changes. Find something that your child loves around your house (an empty water bottle, a spatula, a remote control, whatever!) and keep that handy for longer diaper changes with solids.

My daycare has a mobile above the changing table, she says it still works for my 2yo, they make up stories about the little bears and stuff.
