Doctor didn’t seem concerned. But with my first son I was induced right at 40 weeks cuz my son’s fluid was getting low, so I’m just worried. I’m not sure if I’m gonna get another ultrasound again, gonna ask my doctor at my appt tmr!

Normal AFI (amniotic fluid index) is typically between 8-18. So it sounds like you are right in the middle - totally normal! I am 34 weeks and currently being closely monitored for low fluid...mine has been fluctuating between 6-9. My doctor said anything below 5 is when they get concerned. I have to closely pay attention to kick counts and go in for weekly NSTs, and am fine to keep going so long as baby is still moving, growing, thriving. Definitely talk to your doctor about your concerns, but it sounds like a normal number to me :)

25 AFI amniotic fluid level is considered polyhydramnios (too much) that’s what I have! Anything under 25 to 5 is considered normal I believe!
