Am I being weird about this?

My daughter who is five has had a loose tooth for a couple of weeks now. She went to a birthday party with her father’s mom. I get a call from her telling me that someone pulled my daughters tooth out at the party. My dentist told me to wiggle it every day until it falls out on its own. I’m a little bit annoyed that someone just did that without my permission. Am I being weird or controlling about this? Or is this something that would bother other moms too?
