Daughters 1st Birthday
Hey there,
I’m pretty bummed out. I’m the youngest of three kids. For 10+ years, I have gifted to my siblings children for their birthdays, Christmas, helped babysit etc. I’ve gone to the hospital to welcome all their new babies over the years and always been there to help them when they’ve been sick etc. My daughter is turning one soon and my siblings have both said they can’t come because they have to work. (I told them over a month in advance) I completely understand that they have to work but I’m so bummed out. Not to mention my sibling gave my daughter an unwrapped gift at their child’s first birthday party that I just attended. I feel like I’ve done so much for everyone else’s kid and mine just isn’t important to them. I want to throw in the towel for birthdays from now on I’m so upset. What are your thoughts? Am I getting angry for nothing?
