Nuvaring experience

I got my nuvaring last month and I put it in after my period. I’ve had it for a month now and I took it out on my third week like you’re supposed to and I got my period within that window I then put the nuvaring back in on the third day of my period and I’m on the 10th day of my period and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop anytime soon. Is this normal or what are your experiences with this?
