Ugh when you slave in the kitchen for 2 hours making a BEAUTIFUL homemade banana cake for an early Easter celebration. It’s looks perfect, in a glass Pyrex cake dish, smells amazing, the cream cheese icing looks great. It’s nothing too special but the love, time and effort that really makes it special. Then you(34 weeks pregnant) are walking it out to the car and try opening the door with cake in hand and you fucking DROP IT. Glass everywhere. Cake and icing everywhere mixed in with glass chunks. For about 1.2 seconds I wondered how I could save it but reality and sadness quickly set in. I’m surprised I didn’t cry 😭 but anyway thanks for listening. I’m now arriving dessertless and in need of a few bandaids 😫😐🤣
