At what time does your 3 year old go to bed?

We usually try to have her in bed by 7:30 but lately she’s been fighting sleep and will take her pj’s off and run around the house, or hide in her closet, everything to avoid sleep. I thought we had a nice routine figured out but I’m thinking we need to change things. For the past two nights, we’ve managed to get her in bed sleeping at 9:20 and 9:35... two hours after bedtime... even if we put her to bed she will either get up and leave her room to get our attention or start playing with toys in her room. 
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My 3 year old usually goes to bed around 8-9 pm and we have a child lock on the inside so she can’t get out. We do this for her safety because she’s a wild one and would get in all sorts of trouble and our bedroom is on the other side of the house so we wouldn’t hear her if she got up and out. I also have a video camera/monitor so we know she’s awake and get her in the morning. She’s really good about going to sleep though, but if she’s messing around we usually speak to her over the camera, which freaks her out a bit and gets right back into bed. We did similar with my oldest, but we actually installed a door alarm on her door so when she’d opened it, a chime would sound. Again, for our child’s safety we used this. Once my younger daughter is a bit older we will remove the inside child lock and install the door alarm. Not sure any of this will help but I hope you find a solution. Does she still nap during the day? Sometimes mine does and then it’s more difficult to get her to bed on time.

Mine is 2.5 years but he goes to bed at 9 now. He wakes somewhere between 6:30 and 8am. He still naps 2 hours. Only a couple months ago he was going down around 8:15 but then he started fighting and staying awake in his room or coming out to tell us he wasn’t tired, so I decided to see what he’d be like staying up later and now bedtime is so much easier than it was.

8:30 to 9. I'm sure we will have to push it up once she starts school but for now this time works best.

First take away toys out of the room no toys should be jn the room where kod sleeps that will show its play room instead of sleep
