Toddler bed?

Question

When did you put your kid in a toddler bed? My daughter is 16 months and her bed converts to one! I was told not to before 3 but that seems pretty late.

We put our son in a toddler bed at 17 months (he is now 22 months) he wasn’t climbing out or anything but he started refusing naps. So we tried the bed and he loves it!

My daughter did great in a toddler bed at 2 years old (about a month after her 2nd birthday). But every kid is different!

Try it. You'll know soon if it works out not. With my son, we did it at 2years & ended up having to go back to his full on crib around 2.5 years until he was 3 because he would continually get out of bed & just sob & scream at the top of the stairs. We restarted at 3 & it's like he's been in his bed boy bed all along, no issues now. 
I'm about to try it with my 2 year old daughter now. I think she'll do fine, but you'll only know if you try.

2nd at 18m
Really depends on the child. My 2nd was more than ready at 18m. Never had an issue with him staying in bed at bedtime. My 1st struggled ever so slightly with her new found freedom lol.
