Anyone taking antidepressants-have you had strange side effects?

So about 8 months ago I had a seizure and was put on seizure medication. My medication is also an antidepressant along with being an anticonvulsant. When I began taking the medication, I had side effects of drowsiness, but as the doctor slowly increased my dose (because putting me on a large dose at once could cause even more seizures), my side effects became more potent and every time he raised it there seemed to be another side effect. Slowly my anxiety would increase with each dose (right now being on my highest dose, I’m borderline illusionary anxious) and I went from waking up a few times a night to going entire nights without sleeping. I’ve also been having strange urinary problems (hesitancy and blood in my urine). I thought my urinary problems were just UTIs, but every time I’ve been checked my urine comes back normal. All these harsh side effects last a week and a half to 2 weeks long, then they’ll eventually subside. Then it would start all over again once he would raise my dose.

I’m finally at the desired dose I need to be, so the doctor will no longer be raising my dose. But I was just wondering if anyone has had any strange side effects to antidepressants like me.

I’m also terrified of doctors..so don’t tell me to see one. I just wanna know if this is my anxiety having me all worked up (because when I get super stressed or anxious I have bladder problems).

I just want someone to ease my nerves!!!😫😞😭
