Have crush

Hey, I’m just 13 and kinda new to knowing that I’m not straight. I have a crush on this girl I hang out with, and she’s pan. The thing is, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t like me like that and idk I’m just frustrated that the one time I’m aware that I have a crush on a girl who’s not straight I don’t have any confidence to tell her or to ask her out. I know some people don’t think you should date in middle school but I wish I could just find someone who I liked that likes me back... oh. She also hugs me and holds my hand so it gets really difficult to tell platonic flirting and actual flirting apart cause she’s a natural flirt to all her friends.
