Mom doesn't want me in the family...

My mother is very close minded and very ignorant to others' opinions of their not the same as hers.

With that being said, I started dating this guy after knowing him/working with him for 6+ months. He's great. Only thing is, he is 36 years old and im 19, turning 20 in May. (Ive seen couples with even larger age gaps, 20, 30 or even 40 years apart. And I've seen them work out) I dont see that as an issue. Im an adult and I feel as if im allowed to love/date who I chose. Its my life. I told her about it, because I used to tell her everything. She almost hit me, and told me that im a whore, a disgrace, a mistake, an embarrassment, and that "the pedophile" will never be welcomed into the family. She has asked me to move out asap, she never wants to hear from me again and told me I should have never been born. Basically, that Im the worst human being alive because im dating an older guy who makes me happier than anyone ever has before. I even told her that and she said, "If you ever get married, just know, no one from the family will be there, youll be all alone on your pathetic day and if you ever have kids, you should abort them"

With all that being said, she has never met him, talked to him or even given him the slightest chance.

Because him and myself work together, my mother thought itd be a great idea if she called my store to yell death threats over the phone to him. I was working with him when this happened, and as soon as he got off the phone, his face went completley white and he almost passed out. THIS WAS NOT OKAY. WHO DOES THAT?

I was very embarrassed from the actions she has done. I thought a mom was supposed to support what you choose and as long as youre happy, thats all that should matter. She is the most disrespectful and disgusting person i think ive ever met or known. I know shes my mother biologically, but she does NOT act like an actual mom to me.

Anyway...
