BBT and Ovidrel?

Question

Is it worth tracking your bbt if you are going to take the Ovidrel trigger? I ovulate on my own, but my RE had us use the trigger last cycle for timing. We’ve had 2 unsuccessful IUIs, so just trying to do as much as I can to ensure we get it right this time. Should I start to track my bbt or does the Ovidrel trigger affect body temperature?

I tracked my BBT and used the ClearBlue Digital Ovulation in addition to the Ovidrel shot. This let me know which day I ovulated with our IUI. Our 3rd IUI was successful and I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant with our healthy baby boy! Good luck!

I believe it’s the progesterone that increases you temp (you produce it naturally after ovulation or your doctor might have you take supplements)not the HCG shot.

You can track it only if you want the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing you ovulated. It’ll work.
