Boss upset about maternity leave

Today at 30w4d I was put on maternity leave from my nursing home job. It was ordered by my doctor, because him/I are hoping to avoid bedrest. I planned on staying through the end of the current schedule, but apparently my baby has other plans. I drove the 1.5 hours out of my way to hand deliver the note, and my boss rolled her eyes and acted like I was a big inconvenience the entire time I was there. I work 40+ hours a week between my two jobs and he told me leaving the nursing home is not up for discussion it has to be done. However my other job is a desk job with no lifting so that job is still okay for now. I really wish my boss would understand that I didn't ask to be put on leave at 30 weeks, however that was a toxic work environment so I'm not upset about. I currently have no plans of going back after I deliver this baby, that job is just way to stressful even when you're not pregnant.
