It’s a psychological thing. We are attracted to people who have similar facial structure and features. Typically you’ll see they have the same smile, nose or something else. It’s because we (unknowingly) are attracted to ourselves, and our opposite sex parent so we look for those features in a partner.

I've noticed this too 😂 My sister and her girlfriend look so alike that in photos you generally have to do a double take for a second, and me and my husband look like siblings (same nose and lips, same shade of blonde, ect)
