What should I do?

So my boyfriend and i have been in a long distance relationship for over a year. I am in school and he is in the military so I only see him a weekend every two months. We are really serious and want to be together so I've been thinking about moving out there to be with him. If I don't, we would have to wait another year to be together.

Why can't you finish school where he is? I don't think you should put your education off for him but I don't see why you couldn't transfer to a school closer to him?

U could always transfer to another school that's close to him then move or wait till ur done with school then move close to him

Try transferring schools. Your education is very important so I wouldn't want to see you not being able to pursue that. How about see if there is a school you can transfer to in the area he is stationed. If you can't find one then I would wait the year, girl. I know it easier said then done, but will be so worth it in the end.

My now husband and I did the long distance thing for a little over 4 years after we started dating. It made our relationship as strong as it is now. He's in the military as well and I'm from Germany. Until I was ready to move here (things like his work and my paperwork to come etc) it was just a waiting game. But worth it. I say finish your school first. Education is so important! I don't know if you have the chance to transfer to a school near him without any issues? That would probably help!

I know it is tough but my good friend dated someone that was in college a few states away. It was really hard but he wanted to finish college there and so did she which was here in California. They saw each other less then you see your boyfriend now. Saw her mostly on summer vacations. It was especially hard when he decided to get his masters afterwards. So they dated for a little over 6 years mostly apart. When he finished he found a job here in Cali and saved to buy a house. Moved here, bought a house and they got married. They now have a beautiful baby and haven't been apart since. They are happy they did them first so they would have no regrets or resentment later. They are happy they didn't rush things. It's hard but hang in there. If it is meant to be, then it will be.

It all depends on you :) and what you really want i left everything to be with my husband and till this day i dont regret anything. Going to sleep next to him almost every night makes it all worth it, but at the same time when theyre not there you feel so lonely since you dont know anyone other than them. :(
