Is this really safe to take? I called my OB office and they said yes. But why does it say on google that phenylephrine is dangerous. Im very sick and congested. But afraid to take it.

I was given this by my doctor. What you’re taking has phenylephrine in it which I’m told isn’t safe.

That is my fave med to take when I have a sinus headache so I brought it to my doc to make sure it was safe. She told me it fell into a C rating and I should stick to meds that were A or B and to ONLY take that sparingly if I felt the risk was worth the reward. Hope this helps.

I used this last week when it literally felt like there was concrete in my sinuses and nose, and it cleared it up so quick and I haven’t had any problem since. My doctor said that it’s okay to use this too.

Depends what you said to your doctor. If you asked if you can take “Tylenol,” the answer is yes it’s fine. But what you have there is a combo of Tylenol (acetaminophen) and the sinus medication. I personally wouldn’t use it. Use baby vapo rub, take a hot shower, drink hot tea or eat hot soup (maybe something spicy as that always tends to make my sinuses clear out!).
