Sick baby

My son is 9 months old. He has been sick. We have been to the drs and given meds. He is still congested. The last 2 nites he has puked. Just once the first nite and tonite he has puked a second time. Its quick and then done. Beside that he has been acting fine no fever. Could it be just cuz with his age he doesnt cough and spit out the mucus or should I get him to the drs again? I don't want to bring him and his pick up some other sickness if he doesn't need to go. Thank you
