3D & 4D ultrasounds?

Okay weird question but I’m a ftm and I could call an ask my doctor but I was hoping y’all could possibly give me an answer first. Do I have to make an appointment by myself to get one or will  the doctor ask me closer to time cause I’m 25 weeks now & was just wondering if I should schedule one myself or what? Please help!

That's just depending on the group you go to. Not every OB offers 3D/4D so you should ask because if they don't offer that and you want one you'll need to find a private ultrasound service and you'll have to pay for it out of pocket.

Our hospital offers a free 3D ultrasound but since it’s not medically necessary my dr didn’t have me schedule one, just let me know it was available if I was interested. He did tell me at my 24 week appointment that the baby was in the perfect position for a 3D ultrasound so I scheduled one for the following week and did it the same day as my glucose test. It worked out great lol
