Braxton hicks feel like menstrual cramps?

I’m here at work suffering from what I believe is BH. It is quite painful but also just worrisome to a FTM. They feel low as well. Is this anyone else’s experience? 31w4d

Update upon my doctors recommendation I went to the hospital and my daughter was fine no true contractions just false labor but I did have a yeast infection and the doctor said it was good that I came in! Taking the rest of the week off to relax!

Mine just feel like my stomach is tightening and then releasing definitely not painful just uncomfortable I wouldn't describe them as anything like period pain try drinking loads of water dehydration can make them painful but also I'd get them checked if there painful or you can more than 8 an hour

It feels uncomfortable for a few seconds. Stomach will get very hard like a rock during those seconds and then go away. My doctor told me to just drink a lot of water and rest when they happened

For me real contractions felt more like period cramps. BH just felt like a tightening in my uterus.

Mine generally feel like menstrual cramps with tightening. My cervix usually starts to slowly change once I start to feel them.

Third time mom here. BH for me, are not painful and not like period cramps at all. It’s like pressure, sometimes intense, across the middle band area of my stomach. Not deep inside or internal.

BH aren’t usually painful. Cramps are closer to what contractions feel like. If they haven’t stopped call your OB or go to L&D.

This is exactly what mine feel like. Was up all night with them and getting really worried, and then I finally fell asleep. This morning they were gone. My doctor said dehydration can cause cramping, as well as being in one position for too long.

My BH are super uncomfortable (whole uterus gets rock hard for like 30 seconds) but not painful like period cramps. If I’m getting them back to back, it means I’m dehydrated, so chugging water always helps. 
My midwife said to definitely call if I’m getting period like cramps.

I still don’t know if I’m experiencing these. But I heard they weren’t supposed to be painful so that doesn’t sound right to me. Idk tho!
