How would you address this

Okay this is the stupidest thing, I know but here we go.

I have a friend that is a BIG hugger, like hugs everyone. To the point that it’s inappropriate (I don’t believe you should make all your coworkers hug you goodbye everyday at 28 years old).

I however am not a touchy person and she knows I hate to hug but for the last 3 years of our friendship she just makes a joke of it, that it’s “part of her package”. I see this girl almost every day. I do not need to hug her every time I see her and frankly I feel that by being expected to placate her and hug her it’s not respecting my boundaries, but she doesn’t wanna take it seriously..

How would you put a stop to it once and for all?

Disclaimer** she is a sweetheart and a great friend I’m not looking to cut ties just for advice on how to make her understand.
