Childcare/daycare/pre-K

I'm in the Sarasota Fl area and I need to find childcare for my 2 kids soon so I can start working. I've looked at a few places but they are way out my price range like over 2 grand a month for them both. It sucks because they are really nice centers. I won't even be making that much income a month! The best offer I've gotten so far totals $960 a month for them both(I'll pay $480 spitting the cost with their Father) & this is in someone's home. I have a 9 month old and an almost 3 year old. I'm thinking this is the best deal I'm gonna get & wondering what is the typical affordable amount for childcare per month?
