Jealous MIL?

How do y'all deal with a jealous MIL? 
Mine is upset because my grandmother invited us to church and lunch after church and now all of a sudden my MIL has plans to cook and is guilting her son to stay home because he feels bad lmao. I can't. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

My MIL expects us at every holiday and I’m not about it. I don’t like her that much.

Just happend to me MIL texted if we'd come over tomorrow but we've had plans with dad for over a week. Like sometimes I think they want you to pick them over other people or something. It always happens and we just say sorry we made other plans first. 🤷‍♀️

Deal with this at every single holiday it’s so annoying we spend all our time driving between family’s instead of actually getting to enjoy the day because we have to rush between houses not to hurt peoples feelings ... it’s annoying af.

We alternate holidays. Or do our best to plan ahead and do things on different days. Like Christmas eve with one family and Christmas with the other. 
In this situation, grandma invited you first.  There was no mentioning that she was going to cook so go with grandma! Depending on the times, maybe you can swing by after but you already had plans made.

Lmao. My MIL is a jealous person as well. Literally boohooed because my mom took my son to the zoo when I was 35 weeks pregnant with my daughter and at a doctors appointment. Then stopped by to drop food off for my husband and saw my son for *gasp* a second time that day. 😂😂😂 MIL hasn't been around in 8 months. Never met my daughter, so....there's that.

I don’t lol. I make my husband deal with his mom. You had plans with your grandma first. If his mom wants to do dinner, then go for dinner. But you are busy for lunch.
