Cold remedies

Anyone have anything that worked well for a cold for a 1 yr old? I know theres not much you can do but I hate seeing my LO be so miserable. She has had a cold before but this one seems much worse. She has coughed her little head off all day. We took Zarbees but it wasnt cutting it. We have taken Tylenol..she has a humidifier in her room with a Vicks pod in it..we gave her honey before bed. Taking her to the Dr tomorrow to make sure it's just a cold and that her ear infection is gone too. Ugh..I just wish I could take her sickness from her.
