Is teasing and bullying the same thing?

Okay, I know times are very different from back in the day when kids apparently could "handle" thibgs on their own (I don't think times are that different), but are we hindering kids being kids by calling everything bullying? Do Yall think teasing is the same or does it depend on the consistency?

Bullying is consistent constant harassment. I've never experienced it from anyone other than my parents. Which makes that fall into the abuse category.

Teasing is usually meant to be a good natured jab, like how my husband and I have sex 2-8 times a day. And people poke fun at me and say that's how a race of giants will be born. (I'm 6' and my husband is 6'6")

I also get teased for being so bubbly, and energetic all the time. I get it, and in my friends circle it usually means they wish they had my energy!

I would say it is the same thing because you can be a bully but not be aggressive about it. Teasing to me leads to bullying.

No its not the same thing..  Unfortunately bullying is talked about so much amongst kids that they don't understand the difference. Bullying is the repeated aggressive behavior targeting someone for no reason, usually to intimidate them. Bullying is a lot more serious but people use the term bullying every time they see a kid being mean or teasing another. That'd not bullying. Bullying is the extreme form and repeated.
