It’s Poppy! Toothless senior fur baby!

Rescued this little tiny 9-year-old pup from her second shelter about six months ago. She was so gnarly, with a horrible mouth infection and fistulas to her nose that carried food and bacteria to infect the rest of her ears/nose/throat. Hadn’t been spayed and was likely a horribly mistreated puppy mill mom who wound up being abandoned.

After full mouth extraction and weekly spa days of getting pus and dirt out of her... she’s so flippin happy and adorable! We go on hikes, she loves people and animals (was so timid when we first met) and she’s such a beautiful reminder of courage and resiliency.

She’s my little sweetie, knows just how to make sure I’m doing well, and we are totally should bonded. I also hold support groups for women with Endometriosis and she snuggles everyone. She’s a little healer! I feel so lucky to have the honor of her love and cohabitation! Uhg!
