Should I do it?

There’s someone breaking into cars in my neighborhood. They went through my next door neighbors truck cuz he left it unlocked (only time he’s done it) I think he said twice. And my neighbor across the street. I’m thinking of writing a note that says somwthing like this

There is someone going through peoples cars. Please make sure to keep your cars locked and if there are signs of someone going through it, report it to the police.

Both of my neighbors have said they think it’s a kid. If it is this is not funny. I’m getting a car soon and it’s kinda giving me anxiety because I’m home alone at night on weekends.

I’m obviously going to keep my car locked and my mom knows to keep hers locked. But I figured not many people know about them so letting them know wouldn’t hurt. Cuz who knows maybe someone will catch him
