Why did he do this?

Long story short a lot of things have happened

It all started when I started discovering things about my husband that I did not know and a lot of these things really just pointed to the fact that he was cheating

After months and months of trying to get answers of course I was not hounding him every day every week it was at least one or two times a month.

He changed as a person he was blame shifting gaslighting denying everything suddenly I got to the point where he was unhappy he couldn’t stand certain things that didn’t bother him before like me working on my computer and hearing the keys tap wanting to divorce and then not wanting to divorce

that overwhelming feeling that he needed to get away he was claiming there was too much stress and if we fought once a month it was too much and it felt like we were fighting every day. I was never starting the arguments maybe a couple here and there but 99% of them he started them over the silliest shit

Certain things I would say he would think I was suspicious of him and thinking he was doing something and he said I would pinpoint the stories to accuse him of stuff - that was never the case

Anyways he sitting in jail on domestic violence charges because he blew up when I brought it up again. Technically it wasn’t really a beat down I did end up with two bruises, irregardless.

he is being charged with a misdemeanor two.

***My question is why did he let it get this far?***

When it could’ve been simple? Something as simple as I have something to tell you blah blah blah blah do you think we can make this work can we do couples counseling I know that’s not how things work but it could’ve been something simple

I just don’t get why someone who says and does these things like you make me unhappy I don’t want us anymore but then we turn around and said he did why would he not actually want a divorce because he was served the papers but he was adamant he did not want one

I guess I just don’t understand why he let it get so far and so out of control I told him we should be together and trying to make this work

Instead he made the whole entire situation 1000 times worse.
