Help! Baby Eating(formula): occupational therapy?
My son had always been a horrible eater, he’s 9m now. Had so much trouble breastfeeding and bottle feeding. No ties- been checked by 3pedis and a pediatric dentist. He does get hungry but very rarely. We’re doubling up on formula now because his weight is dropping a little.
I bought this up to the pediatrician again and she wants us to do occupational therapy for eating.
Anyone else experience this?
I feel like I spend some days just trying to get him to eat the minimum of 19oz of formula and maybe a tablespoon or two of baby food.
Any other terrible bottle &breast feeding babies out there?
He’s super social, loves people, and he’s maybe a month behind the “average” for milestones on some things, the rest he meets. He’s also a first and only child- no daycare, or playgroups.
