When is a good time to buy the crib?

So, I'm almost 24 weeks and I really just want to buy the crib now and get it set up. But literally everyone is telling me not to do it. 
We have to get a minicrib because we only have one bedroom, and the reviews on all of the reasonably priced ones are shotty. So I want to buy one now, incase we need to return it and get a different one because it sucks or what have you. 
Is 24-26 weeks too early??

I’m 15+5 and have my mini crib in the trunk of my car 😂 I’ll set it up in the next few weeks.  Ignore what everyone says and do what feels right for you.  It’s a lot easier to prep before you have a big heavy belly in the way.

I'd skip the mini crib personally and either do a pack n play or get a full sized crib and don't put it against the wall if that configuration won't work. 
You can get it at any time. You won't be needing it got awhile, so I don't necessarily think it's necessary to get it early, but if you find a great deal somewhere then why not? Unless you think someone in your family will gift you one.

We have a pack and play and I bought it wayyyyy before I got pregnant again. We don’t do cribs. Pack and play is height adjustable, has a little sleeper, and a changing area if you want to use it. You can also buy mattresses and sheets for them if you want to.

I'm 20 weeks and we already set up the crib. I've been having issues connecting with this baby because I'm so scared I'm going to lose her. Its helped a little to see the crib every day. We also have a dog and we wanted him to have plenty of time to get used to things changing and moving and such.

Idk why people are telling you to wait. If you wanna do it now go for it. I think I had mine set up before I was even 20 weeks!

I’d wait till 30 weeks. But that’s just me but both my kids didn’t come till after 40 + weeks! Plus I didn’t use a crib till a few months after they were born I had a bassinet literally right next to my side 😉

I’m getting my crib once I’m 20 weeks :) you want to have it early just Incase you deliver early. Last minute isn’t fun lol

If you want to buy it now buy it now it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks you should do this is your child and your pregnancy. My mom bought our crib so I had to wait until 30 weeks but if my husband and I had bought it it would’ve been way before then
