Anyone with law experience?

A guy I know got drunk while watching a baseball game and attacked me. He pushed me down a small flight of stairs because he said I slammed a door at the apartment (I didn’t, he was just super drunk and heightened). He’s a big dude, ex marine and i barely break 100lbs so it’s not like I could have been a threat even if I DID do anything to him.

The whole incident was caught on video which I showed the police. They found him 100% at fault and so I have to go to court as a victim of simple criminal battery. I was uninjured since I was able to catch myself after several steps without fully tumbling.

Does anyone know what he will get? I don’t want to put myself on a stand or in front of a judge for him to walk away with a ticket.
