Sad and hopeless. Please help!!

So I'm 8 dpo and I went to pee straight taking bbt but saw quite a bit of blood when I wiped which was very dark brown. I was feeling happy because I thought that it might be implantation bleeding. I put on a pad and all day it had very little blood. However, when I went to pee just now, (it's 5:16 pm here) the pad had a lot more blood. Not nearly enough to fill the pad but a lot more than it should be for implantation bleeding from what I've read. It makes me wonder if my period has come early, which would be terrible because I really bd properly according to opk results so how could this happen?? I'm waiting to see how long it'll last before doing anything. Worse than that, I sincerely hope that I'm not experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. Why does it have to be so hard?!!!??? I just want a baby!!!!😖😭
