Slept with a friend’s ex

I had sex with a guy I know recently. We didn’t know each other very well, but we had been talking for a while. The next day, I learned that a friend of mine had been with him and he had ghosted her barely 2 weeks before we got together. I don’t know if I should pursue the relationship. I really like the guy, and he has treated me very well so far. I don’t want to end up ghosted like my friend was tho.
