I’m 12 weeks today baby had a great hb a few days ago at the doctor but I couldn’t really find it with this thing today

Babies heartbeats can be difficult to detect early on. My midwife didn’t even attempt to find my baby’s until my 16w appointment and even then she told me it might be difficult to find and not to worry if she couldn’t find it. Obviously they’re trained professionals and know where to look etc. 
I wouldn’t read anything into it - trust that your body is doing what it needs to and that baby is still perfectly healthy :)
