Advice on asking for birth control

So I need so advice cuz I really want to get on the pill but problem is that I've never been to the OBGYN before. Also I feel uncomfortable asking my mom. She always says it would be a great idea to go and get the pill because I just started college but she never took me and I'm too awkward to say anything. I have many reasons as to why I want to get it but mainly it's because I'm having a FWB with my ex whom my mom is not fond of AND my mom doesn't know that I'm not virgin and honestly I don't want her to know cuz she can be kinda judgemental sometimes and I don't want her to judge me about what I'm doing. So what should I do?!
