Whingy kid

This will sound bad. But my kid is driving me crazy. He whinges ALL day sometimes. . Doesn't cry or anything just gets super clingy and makes a whining noise all the time. I'm a SAHM so it's not like I'm taking off to go anywhere, he does this constantly and I feel like its so hard to get anything done around the house with a whining toddler constantly attached to my leg. I feel terrible for even complaining about it, i love him more than anything. . I feel like I want a friend to take him for the day though so I could have some peace for just a day! Is this bad? He's never ever been babysat before I've been with him 24/7. I feel like if I don't get some 'me' time I'm going to loose my mind.
