To all single parents; Do you sleep with your bedroom doors open?

I’m a single mom newly in the dating world. I have a good friend who used to come and spend some quality overnight time with me strictly for fun when my kids were younger. Well I think we may rekindle our “friendship” if you know what I’m saying. I was curious if you all slept with your bedroom doors open or closed on a regular basis? I just feel weird sleeping with it closed but would obviously close it when he came by. My kids are 11 and 12 and would know exactly what was happening should they accidentally see

Your kids are 11 and 12.... I don’t see why you need the door open to begin with. I can’t sleep with the door open it just bothers me. 
However I don’t think it would be very healthy for your kids to see some guy coming over at night all the time..even if the door was closed they would know what you were doing.  so you should just make sure they don’t know he’s there...

Close and lock the door. Your kids are grown. You don’t have to listen out for them if they need you they will knock.

I’d personally make it so they can’t “accidentally” see anything. I sleep with my door closed and will after the baby comes because I’ve got a house alarm that is sensitive and when the dogs go down the stairs it goes off if I haven’t disarmed it. That said, if I had an overnight guest I would both close the door and lock it.
