Tips for 1 year old sleeping alone

So my son just turned 1 and I’m pregnant , he has been sleeping with us and I’m trying to make him sleep by himself in his own bed now . He does not like it at all! He will scream and cry as soon as he is put down. I did let him cry it out but he did not stop so I caved in. He could cry for hours if I were to let him. I tried giving him his bottle , his pacifier , soothing music nothing worked. Tried putting him down after he was asleep and woke up . I did everything ! Any tips would be extremely helpful, thanks in advance .
