ADVISE

So i like this boy in my grade and i have known him since 6th grade (i’m in 8th now) from when he transferee her as a new kid and just resent i have became closer with him and i started to get feelings for him and we are good friends and have the same sense of humor and all that bit just today i found out he is going to be moving to Texas in august (from minnesota) and i don’t know if i want to even get close with him now or even try and date him because i don’t wanna get hurt when he moves someone please tell me what to do :(
