When did you know??

Question

When did you know your SO was going to pop the question? My SO and I want to start trying to concieve in December. But he hasn't popped the question of marriage or even engagement. I am not worried about it per say, I love him and I don't need a paper to confirm that. I just expected marriage to come first & then the babies. (Not complaining here) when did you know your SO was going to propose? Or how did it happen first for you? Marriage first or baby first?

I knew when he was going to, but I'll never tell him that 😉

Like you, I wasn't too concerned about the order we did things. We've loved each other for a decade and I was confident it would all get done.

We TTC, got pregnant, got engaged, had our son and then got married all within one year! It was a beautiful year, I've gotta say! I wouldn't have done anything differently if given the chance!

I honestly had no clue my husband was going to propose when he did. He had always had a nonchalant attitude about marriage, it was like he didn't really care. About 4 days before my 22 birthday his dad had asked him what he would do without me and he couldn't answer. That's when it clicked for him. That same day he went and bought a ring and hid it from me. I knew nothing. The morning of my birthday I kept "pestering "him about what he got me, he handed me a silly birthday card I read the outside of the card, opened it up and my eyes automatically went to his handwriting and he had written I love you and I'd be lost without you will you marry me? I looked up at him and he was down on one knee with the ring in his hand. I was speechless I couldn't even say yes! I just nodded my head. We'll have been married for 6 years as of  next Saturday the 26th! He and I are still TTC.

My husband and I when we got together we both already had kids from previous relationships but when we got together we were laying on the floor talking about nothing really I think tv shows. Well he looked over at me and said he could marry me well I laughed thinking it was a joke. Well it wasnt and we were married 6 weeks later and had our son that we have together a years later. We have been married almost 6 years now and counting. Good luck.

We have been talking about getting married in June of 2017. Then we decided that we are going to try for a baby and that if that happens before we start planning the wedding we will go to the JP for something short and sweet and still plan for the 2017 wedding. He still wants to formally propose but he's been ok with going over basic things like venues and such. I'm so excited!

I had absolutely no idea my husband was going to propose lol! He kept telling me he wanted a certain amount in savings, which I never thought he had. He took me to look at rings in December 2013. He didn't buy anything and complained about pricing. He proposed in April 2014 when we went to the annual family blue bonnet festival. BIGGEST surprise of my life!!! We got married in November 2014, and we found out we were pregnant January 2015. We're currently waiting for our baby bundle!!!

I meet my hubby in April 2005 and we were dating for a month and broke up about 4 month later in August 2005 we got to get her again and mid September 2005 in a bar me totally drunk he asked me to marry him well I said yes and 3 days later we found out that we were pregnant with our first we got married in April 2006 and our son was born June 2006

We had our 1st an only fight, we didn't speak for 3 days. He sent me a text saying I love you, and check your inbox. It was an email full of links of images of engagement rings. We narrowed it down to 2.

I went to visit him a week later, he literally ordered it in front of me, totally didn't register. I left and came back 2 weeks later, from deep sleep I watched him open it say "LOOK its here!" And show it to his roommates. Didn't register, he hid it in his room and I guessed where it was and he said "nope not there!"

I realized he was going to get it when he had the flimsy excuse of forgetting his wallet, I could clearly see it in his back pocket.

I knew it was going to happen on that trip across the mountains to visit family.
