Missed Birth Control

I just started birth control a week ago, when I look up the BC it says “use condoms for first 24hrs until medication has time to prevent pregnancy” this happened the 7th day of me starting BC for the first time, I took plan B just Incase, I’m so scared and my nerves are bad. Do you think I should be ok? He didn’t cum in me, he pulled out. And now I’m so sad because I want nothing to do with him because I told him USE A CONDOM
