Low PAPP-A

Does anybody know anything about low PAPP-A results?

Back at 12 weeks we did the Downs Syndrome testing which the results came back high risk (1:7) due to a very low PAPP-A reading. We did the further harmony testing and thankfully Down’s syndrome has been ruled out, however, I am still left with this mysterious low PAPP-A!

I was told if it was going to cause any issues it won’t be until towards the end of my pregnancy (which is why I haven’t really worried until now)

I have been put down for regular scans starting at 28 weeks but I don’t know why? What if baby isn’t growing as he should, what will they do? Etc etc etc? I have so many questions but my community midwife has openly admitted she doesn’t know much about low PAPP-A so I’m not sure where to turn xx
