VBAC Discussion/Stories

So I am 36 weeks. So far my baby is measuring 7 lbs per my growth scan today. He’s gonna be a chunk. My first child was a failed induction turned emergency CSEC. So my OB told me if this baby is going to be as big as she was, my chances of a VBAC are shortened. So if I don’t spontaneously go into labor by May 28th, I will be having a repeat CSEC.

My first was 8 lbs 7 oz. And this one is already at 7 lbs ESTIMATED! She said if I spontaneously go into labor before scheduled CSEC I can try for a VBAC but that if he’s the same weight as my last one, she would recommend not trying. I want to try anyway idk.

I would love some shared VBAC stories, successful and unsuccessful. I am a little devastated that he’s measuring ahead because I really wanted a VBAC and said I was the perfect candidate until now.

Side note, I lost 100+ lbs since my last pregnancy so, that might change things but idk.
