Blood pressure check?

14wks 2days and met with my new doctor. Just curious, just was anyone else told they too need to check their BP(blood pressure) 2x a day? At my appointment I was my bp was 90/60. Also I have to check my blood sugar 4x a day for two weeks- it was 56 2hrs after eating dinner. I was given the perimeters for high bp and glucose but not low. 
Any input is truly appreciated!

Anything under 70 is considered low for blood sugar. I was diabetic pre-pregnancy and I am testing 7 times a day. Before a meal is 80-100. 1 hr after a meal is supposed to be 140 or under. I have noticed with the little hearts starting to beat and placenta forming that I can't seem to keep it up. 
I had to check my blood pressure for a few days, 3x a day because I have "white coat" syndrome like no other. They didn't believe me. Lol

I have low blood pressure & am 33 weeks pregnant. I was never told I had to monitor it though. But I have had low blood pressure for a while now & now how to keep it at a safe level or what to do if it dips too low. It's gotten higher as pregnancy has gotten further thank goodness. But you might be slightly anemic & might just need either more supplements or you might need to just keep an eye on your blood sugar. Nothing horrific to worry about, but maybe your Dr is just trying to keep you as healthy as she can.
