Is saying dreadlocks comparable to saying the N word?
Recently there was a man who was very offended by the term “dread locks”, claiming it is offensive because “white people” named them and called them so because they are “dreadful” or “ugly”
I was under the impression that the name came from Rastafarian culture.
I am just curious,
Is the term dreadlocks comparable to the N word?
