Owlet- yay or nay?

What’s everyone’s experience with the Owlet? Originally I was set on having it but then decided against it, however is $100 off right now and I’m back to debating if we need it or not 🤔

Personally the owlet is the best purchase I made for baby. My LO is a tummy sleeper and it saves me so much anxiety that I can check that she’s breathing without having to wake her with my hand on her. I can sleep knowing she’s being watched. Of course it doesn’t replace regular supervision but if you have the means I highly recommend the peace of mind

I've heard you get a lot of false positives. To me that's just a lot of potential anxiety over nothing just follow safe sleeping guidelines and baby will be fine

I wouldn’t have been able to sleep without mine, but to be fair, my daughter was a micro preemie and spent 101 days in the NICU with breathing issues before she got to come home.

We don't have the owl but have the Angelcare.. it lays under his mattress and goes off when there is not movement. It gave me a piece of mind... And is muchhhhh cheaper. But if they aren't sleeping in their bed, it's not really a good one.

I could see the benefit in it. But I would personally only buy something like that if there was existing health issues with the baby

We loved ours!🙌🏾 As first-time parents, it really gave us peace and did not cause any anxiety. However, it would not call it a "must have". It is certainly great to have though, at least imo. 👌🏾

Absolutely loved the owlet. Let me sleep so much better and never had one false alarm! We used it for about 10 months or so.

My husband bought us one and it’s the best thing. I could actually sleep. Never had one false alarm and she’s 13 months and still sleeps with it.
