Baby monitor help please!

Baby monitors are the most confusing for me as far as selection and reviews go! I need recommendations bad! I really don’t need anything super fancy as we will likely be in a small house or 3 br apartment by the time baby is born. Plan on having baby in a pack n play in my room probably a lot in the first year. I will probably use it most that first year when I need my 9 year old to watch the baby while I bring in groceries if we stay in our large apartment complex.

My older child is 9 and with her we literally just had one of those cheap old fisher price ones.

So ya I need help! Don’t really want to spend more than $100
