Tried anal for the first time and bleeding a week later

My husband and I tried anal for the first time a little over a week ago. We were celebrating our anniversary and were both pretty drunk and decided to try. It didn’t hurt terribly bad and everything seemed normal and fine the first few days after. Almost exactly a week later I had a hard time using the restroom and strained quite a bit and noticed blood on my stool. For the last three says now I’ve seen a little blood on my stool each time I’ve used the restroom.

I’m terribly embarrassed about this. I have an appointment with my gynecologist on Wednesday...should I mention this to her? What should I do? I’m really freaked out.
