Rainbow baby

We found out we are pregnant on Saturday and I’m completely terrified. We had a miscarriage in October at 6wks and 3days. So far I feel great and had a little spotting 2-3 days before my expected period due date and now I’m just lightly cramping. My OB doesn’t want to see me till 8wks even with the history of a miscarriage which surprised me. That first appointment I’m only meeting with a nurse and talking about history and having a blood draw. Should I have pushed for an earlier appointment?
